I've been on an old version of Logic (Pro 8). For a number of reasons I quit music a few years ago due to personal matters and that I lost the love I had for making music.
Now I have picked it up again, and all I had to work with was the old Logic version. I figured, if I can learn the fundamentals of mixing on that version, I'm going to be in a really good place when upgrading to either Pro Tools or Logic 11.
The problem I was facing is that in the old version I had the first gen plugins of all the stuff I needed, but moving to a new DAW, I would have to start from scratch with stock plugins.
Juno reached out a hand and through his site I could download some sessions to get a new perspective on how to set up a template, what plugins and settings to use that will be really helpful. Now I feel much more confident in mixing my next track in Logic 11.
