I have the plugins but they aren't loading in the DAW?

  1. Reinstall your missing/required plugins, then scan both VST/VST3/AU versions into your DAW again.
  2. Be sure all of the required plugins are active and updated.
  3. Check that your DAW is also updated and registered.
  4. Verify that the DAW is pointing to the proper path of where your plugins are stored.

- Mac:

~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/

- Windows:

C:\Program Files\Vstplugins

C:\Program Files\vst2

C:\Program Files\Vst3

C:\Program Files\Steinburg

Check your other drives and /commonfiles as well

6. Restart your computer, and reopen the template.

If you have cracked plugins that may also be the issue. Purchase a license for ownership of the plugins.

I don't hear any audio recording or music from my DAW?

If you don't hear any audio you may not have something set up properly.

You need to 'arm' recording tracks to enable the track to record.

Enable 48v and enough input to microphones and interfaces for sound.

Ensure your interface is selected as the output for the DAW and your listening devices are functioning, volume is up.

Here are some resources to set up your audio, if all else fails please send us an email for further help.

Studio Verse Presets Are Crashing?

  • Verify that you have the plugins as pictured in the downloadable product you purchased.
  • You can verify they work by clicking in a slot in Studio Verse and finding the plugin.
  • If the plugin is there it will show up, if it doesn't show up then you need to scan for that plugin wherever it is in your directories.
  • If it shows up but it crashes verify that you can open up the vst version of the plugin in your DAW without it crashing. If it crashes both ways there may be an issue with your plugin and you would have to search how to fix it with the plugin/DAW support for that plugin.
  • If you don't have a plugin in the Studio Verse preset it will show up but in italics and slightly greyed out. Replace it with any plugin of your choice.

Presets are provided in Studio Verse form so that all users can access it. Since the engineer doesn't have all DAWs this allows us to give universal presets to all DAWs. Should you have any issues loading plugins or crashing it is most likely an issue on your end and product. If you suspect any plugin to be problematic simply insert it in a slot in Studio Verse and if it crashes or doesn't load properly then you will find that plugin as the issue.
